We do not represent authors. We take no commission, hold no rights, and have no stake in which route you choose.

An agency earns when a book sells, which is a good incentive most of the time and a poor one when the honest answer is 'not yet'. Because nothing we advise changes what we are paid, we can tell you to revise, to wait, or to publish independently.

That independence also means we recommend no publisher, printer or service in exchange for a referral fee.

Everything starts with reading. We read your material, then read around it: recent deals in the same space, catalogues, acknowledgements, submission guidelines as currently published.

What comes back is short and specific — a shortlist, the reasoning behind it, and the changes worth making before you send.

We do not guarantee representation, publication, an option or a production. No one can, and anyone who does is selling you something else.

We do not ghostwrite, we do not act as your legal adviser, and we do not contact agents or producers on your behalf. Submissions go out under your name because the relationship that follows is yours.
